Druja

Install guide

One line of code. Works with any website builder.

  1. 1. Get a site key

Sign in, add your website with its addresses (for example https://example.com and https://www.example.com). The key works only on those addresses.

  2. 2. Paste this before </body> on every page

    <script src="https://YOUR-DRUJA-ADDRESS/druja.js" data-site-key="pk_YOUR_KEY" defer></script>

Your dashboard shows this line with your real address and key, ready to copy.

  3. 3. Index your site, then check

In the dashboard open your site → Knowledge → Index the site. Then open your website: a chat button appears at the bottom right.

Where to paste it

WordPress

Appearance → Theme File Editor → footer.php, before </body>. Or use a header-and-footer plugin and paste it into the footer box.

Shopify

Online Store → Themes → … → Edit code → layout/theme.liquid, just before </body>.

Wix

Settings → Custom Code → Add Custom Code: paste it, choose All pages, place in Body - end.

Webflow

Project settings → Custom Code → Footer Code. Publish the site afterwards.

Squarespace

Settings → Advanced → Code Injection → Footer.

React, Vite or plain HTML

Add it to index.html, before </body>.

Next.js

In app/layout.tsx: <Script src="…/druja.js" data-site-key="pk_…" strategy="afterInteractive" /> from next/script.

Options on the script tag

AttributeWhat it does
data-site-keyRequired. Your site's key from the dashboard.
data-color="#ff7401"Button and header colour (overrides the dashboard).
data-title="Ask Acme"Chat window title (overrides the dashboard).
data-theme="dark"light, dark or auto (matches your page's background).
data-debugLogs each question and answer to the browser console while you set things up.

Control what it can do

Built in, always: it never types passwords, card numbers or one-time codes; it asks before it submits, buys, pays, deletes or signs up; it only uses personal details the visitor gave it; it ignores text on a page that tries to give it orders.

Add your own limits on any element:

<section data-druja-ignore>…</section>          <!-- it can't see or use this part -->
<button data-druja-confirm>Cancel plan</button>  <!-- it always asks first -->

If your site has a Content-Security-Policy

Add the Druja address to script-src and connect-src.

Troubleshooting

No chat button
Open the browser console (F12). “Missing data-site-key” or “Unknown data-site-key”: check the attribute. “paused”: resume the site in the dashboard.
“Couldn't reach the assistant”
The console says why. “not an allowed domain”: add the exact address you're on (with or without www) under the site's Settings.
It doesn't know about other pages
Index the site again (Knowledge), or turn on automatic re-indexing.
It answers but can't do a task
Give the button or field a visible label or an aria-label: Druja finds things the way screen readers do.
